Wedding Trend 2012: LACE

If you haven't already figured it out, lace is the wedding trend of the season. We have to give this credit to Princess Katherine who graced us with her gorgeous, lace-topped Alexander McQueen wedding dress. After her incredibly amazing nuptials, who wouldn't want to have her look for their own?  These are some of the wedding trends popping up all over, and they don't just include the dress.

And think about this:  these could be the details you should add to your wedding invitation.  Remember, the invitation should always set the tone for the wedding.  If you're going to incorporate lace into your wedding details, it should probably be part of your invitation. Stay tuned for a lace wedding invitation by Imprint Vintage.

Simple Winter Wedding Elegance

Just a couple of weeks ago, these amazing friends of ours got married. Finally. I worked closely with the groom this time to get these simple, elegant letterpressed invitations off without a hitch. The white cotton paper set the mood for their winter wedding that was decorated with only white flowers. A simple double line on the invitation creates a border around the suite, with small capped lettering that defined the couple perfectly: modern and classy. Family members exclaimed that it looked just like the groom. Mission accomplished.

Champagne Wedding

I'm back with another beautiful wedding invitation. This bride and groom had their wedding ceremony and dinner at the gorgeous, and elegant Salt Lake Country Club.  This invitation was designed after my own invitation, but with a champagne border, and ivory bow to wrap it up.  It is a glamorous, yummy bundle that any guest would be honored to receive. Stay tuned for a few photos from the event featuring table numbers, place cards and more!

Inspiration Board [peach & turquoise]

I am really in to blues and turquoise lately. I found these vintage turquoise shoes on Pinterest the other day, and thought I should design around it's color.  I'm really liking the peach with the turquoise. Now, if only I could get my camera to start taking better photos, I'd be set!

Oh Christmas Card

My Christmas card is in the mail.  I actually don't like it as much as I thought I would.  Therefore, it does not get to make it's debut on the blog.  Better luck next year!

i had the opportunity to design a logo for a friend from high school.  she is just starting her photography business and needed a good logo and such.  we did a lot to make this exactly what she wanted--chic, sophisticated, and modern.  check out her website: lindsey fullerton photography.  it may still be under construction, but will be up and really running soon!
